Privacy Policy

Effective date: 5 August 2026 · HamaraStaff is a product of SRIBHARAT GPS TRACKER PRIVATE LIMITED ("BharatGPS"), Visakhapatnam, India. This policy covers the HamaraStaff website (hamarastaff.com) and the HamaraStaff Android application.

What HamaraStaff does

HamaraStaff is a workforce management service used by businesses ("employers") to record GPS-based attendance and field-visit activity of their own employees. Employee accounts are created and managed by the employer, not by HamaraStaff.

Information we collect

• Location data: when an employee taps Start My Day, End My Day, I've Reached, or closes a visit, the app records their device's GPS coordinates at that moment, along with the time. Location is collected only during these explicit actions — the app does not track location continuously or in the background.
• Work records: attendance times, visit details and reports entered by the employee or their employer.
• Account data: name, employee ID, work area and login credentials created by the employer; for trial registrations, the company name, email address and phone number provided.
• Push notification token: a device identifier used solely to deliver work notifications (e.g. "new visit assigned").

How the information is used

Data is used only to provide the service to the employer: showing attendance, visit history, activity trails and reports in that employer's own management panel, and sending related notifications and emails. We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or share data with third parties except the infrastructure providers below.

Who can see the data

An employee's records are visible to that employee and to their employer's authorised administrators. Each business's data is stored separately and is never visible to other businesses.

Service providers

Hosting and databases: Hostinger. Push notifications: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Email delivery: Hostinger SMTP. These providers process data only to run the service.

Data retention & deletion

Work records are retained for up to 1 year and then purged automatically. Employers can delete individual employees at any time from their panel, which prevents further collection. For full account or data deletion requests, use our account deletion page or contact us — we action them within 30 days.

Security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to each portal requires that business's credentials.

Children

HamaraStaff is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18.
